I am a Physician Assistant and currently work in the field of Wound Care.  I have had past experience working in Orthopedics, Spine, and Pain management. Over the years, in addition to loving my work in the medical field, I have developed a passion for also helping people through nutrition and fitness and become a certified personal trainer.  


For as long as I can remember, I was athletic and healthy. I started out in gymnastics when I  was three years old.  My mother put me in every sport you could possibly imagine growing up.  When I attended high school I choose to continue with soccer, track, basketball and gymnastics.  I chose to play soccer at the collegiate level for a year then began to focus more on my academics.  I continued to go the gym and workout but as I grew older I started to struggle with loosing weight and staying in shape despite going to the gym five days a week.  Point blank, my body was changing and I didn't know what to do to take control.  I tried eating once a day, doing crazy amounts of cardio, weight loss pills, etc...

 



I knew I had to make a change.

I made up my mind, I set a goal and never looked back.

I knew I had to make a change because what I was doing was not working.  I decided I needed a goal and signed up for my first bodybuilding competition. I competed in the figure division and took 15th place out of 16 girls. This only drove me to push harder to reach the next level. But, for the first time in my life, I learned basic healthy nutrition. I learned how to properly eat and train to take my body to the next level. In my very next competition I took home second place and qualified for nationals!  I never knew I could push my body and challenge myself like I did. 


I made a lifestyle change and wouldn't change it for the world.  I now continue to train and eat properly.  I have a strong passion to educate others about basic healthy nutrition and exercise so they are able to obtain their goals and aspirations in life and in their health.
